78th Annual GREELEY INDEPENDENCE STAMPEDE
Recognizes the County of
Veld, Colorado-
WHEREAS, the 2000 ORIELEY INDEPENDENCE STAMPEDE is the
"World's Largest 4th of July Rodeo and Western Celebration" TM beginning June 21
and culminating on July 4 with eight world class PRCA Pro Rodeos; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY of WILD has been a good neighbor to Greeley and a
strong supporter of the Stampede in the past; and
WHEREAS, the ARIELIY INDEPENDENCE STAMPEDE is celebrating it's
78th Anniversary year; and
WHEREAS, this year's concert lineup includes such great talent as Foreigner,
Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Dwight Yoakam, Kenny Chesney, Brooks &
Dunn, Lonestar, Collin Raye, Mark Chesnutt and Chris LeDoux and others;
WHEREAS, }the Stampede Committee would like to invite the
WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS to attend the Stampede Fiesta, Demolition
Derby, Bill Hames Shows Carnival, Kids Rodeo, BBQ's, Flapjack Feeds,
Watermelon Feeds and other exciting events;
NOW, THEREFORE, the IREELEY INDEPENDENCE STAMPEDE
COMMITTEE proclaims JUNE 2I-JULY 4, 2000 as STAMPEDE DAYS is
WILD COUNTY COLORADO.
