Dear Mr. Anderson,
This letter is in reference to our telephone conversation regarding fire protection requirement for
the building providing board and training for dogs at 1605 Weld County Road 40 '/z, Berthoud,
owned by Laurie Buffington. It is my understanding from our conversation that the pole barn
used for training has an occupancy classification of Group U, while the office has an occupancy
classification of Group B. With the Group B having less than 500 square feet and its proposed
use the Berthoud Fire Protection District has waived the fire protection requirement of a fire
hydrant.
