(NO o BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY COLORADO: ri riO U WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of August, 1983, the Board of County ca o W Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted Ordinance No. 118, concerning o c)x Weld County Personnel Policies, and yr w o WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to amend certain o a sections of Ordinance No. 118 as follows: n Page 14, Disciplinary Action, second paragraph, third sentence, • achange word "probationary" to "review". CO• U Page 15, Weld County Personnel Grievance Board, add to end of o z paragraph one, "Grievance Board hearings are closed to the public. N H The grieving party plus any legal representation, the recorder, the ro H Board legal advisor, Board members and any witness, while giving testimony, are the only people present." W Page 19, Paid Vacations, first sentence, change word "probationary" vp k+ to "initial review period". z Page 22, Personal Leave Days, add following section: "Personal o leave is a privilege granted to full time County employees. U a Employees in their initial review period are not eligible. Each a x year, with supervisory approval, a full time employee may convert two (2) days of sick leave into two (2) Personal Leave Days. 'D- ' Personal leave days may not be carried over from year to year. The ocfl method of scheduling and the timing of Personal Leave Days is at the discretion of the Elected Official/Department Head." Page 23, Sick Leave Bank, second paragraph, fifth line, insert "following one year of employment" after the words "each quarter". Any reference "employees" change to "members". Second paragraph, fourth line. Under Topic A, third line. Under Topic C, #3, second line. Under Topic C, #5, first line. Under Topic C, #7, second line. Under Topic C, #6, first line. Page 47, B. County Retirement, second sentence, delete everything after the word "contribute" to the end of the sentence and add after "contribute" "5.5% of gross earnings each month. Employee contributions are deferred from State and Federal taxable income effective December 16, 1983." Page 47, Group Life Insurance, add sentence to end of paragraph, "Employees may purchase supplemental life insurance for their spouse and dependent children. Spouse insurance can be purchased in increments of $5,000 to a maximum of $25,000. Dependent children insurance policies are available with a maximum coverage of $5,000." Page 48, insert new paragraph after "Parking" paragraph, "Deferred Compensation": "The Weld County Deferred Compensation Plan is available to all elected or appointed officials and full time County employees. Employee compensation may be deferred from State and Federal income taxes in amounts not to exceed 25% of annual salary or $7500 per year. A number of investment options are available with a minimum monthly employee contribution of $25.00." 830617 "Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance: Available in single N o and family coverage in increments of $10,000 with a minimum of o 0 $10,000 and a maximum of $100,000." 0 N O WHEREAS, the effective date of said amendment will be January 1, 1984.
