RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF GARY PAXTON TO 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE
SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gary Paxton be appointed to said board as
the law enforcement, County appointed, representative, to replace Terry Urista, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Gary Paxton to said board, with his
term to expire January 8, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Gary Paxton be, and hereby is, appointed to the 911 Emergency
Telephone Service Authority Board, with his term to expire January 8, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of March, A.D., 2000, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2000.
