State of Colorado, Weld County Clerk & Recorder
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEEDS CONCERNING
i MINING OPERATIONS ON THE BERNHARDT PROPERTY
r;.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
C
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Weld County holds easements allowing the mining
of gravel on property owned by Ben and Esther P. Bernhardt located
approximately one and one-half miles South of Milliken, Colorado,
and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has informed the Board
of County Commissioners that all mining operations on the Bern-
hardt property have ceased, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has requested that action
be taken to vacate the abovementioned easements , and
WHEREAS, Quit Claim Deeds have been prepared effecting said
vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the
Board be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said Quit Claim
Deeds.
The above and foreging Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
October , A.D. , 1980 .
