RE : DECLARE CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLO-
RADO AS SURPLUS PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the following described
parcels of land owned by Weld County are no longer needed for
governmental purposes :
PARCEL A
Parcels of land in the North Half of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 19, Township 1 North, Range 66
West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, con-
taining 3. 0 acres of land described as follows :
Beginning at a point on the North line of a County
Road right of way, as described in Book 1229 Page
556 of the Weld County Records , said right of way
being 20 feet off the South side of the North Half
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 19 , a distance
of 2054 feet West of the East line of the North
Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 19 , Town-
ship 1 North, Range 66 West; thence North 10. 0 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence East 204. 2
feet; thence North 416. 5 feet; thence West 204 . 2
feet; thence South 416. 5 feet to the point of be-
ginning, containing 2 acres more or less; also
Beginning at a point which is the Northeast Corner
of Tract "A" and the Northwest corner of Tract "B" ,
described as being 2054 feet West of the East line
of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section
19 , Township 1 North, Range 66 West and 426. 5 feet
North of the North line of a County Road right of
way, as described in Book 1229 Page 556 of the Weld
County Records, said right of way being 20 feet
wide off the South side of the North Half of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 19 , Township 1 North,
Range 66 West; thence West 306. 4 feet; thence North
85. 3 feet; thence East 510. 6 feet; thence South
85. 3 feet; thence West 204 . 2 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 1 acre more or less,
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion conveyed to the
State Highway Commission of Colorado, a public
corporation, by Deed recorded September 25 , 1954
in Book 1400 at Page 392, Reception No. 1189323,
Weld County Records, and
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom that portion conveyed to
the State Highway Commission of Colorado, a public
corporation, by Deed recorded September 25 , 1954
in Book 1400 at Page 390, Reception No. 1189322,

EXCEPTING therefrom that portion conveyed to the

ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom that portion conveyed to
the State Highway Commission of Colorado, a public
corporation, by Deed recorded September 25, 1954
in Book 1400 at Page 390, Reception No. 1189322 ,
Weld County Records.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Weld County Ordinance No. 65,
the Board desires to declare the hereinabove described parcels
of land as surplus property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above described
parcels of land owned by Weld County, Colorado are no longer
needed for governmental purposes and hereby declares said pro-
perty to be surplus property.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the day of
July, A.D. , 1980.
