RE: SOUTH WELD COUNTY SERVICE BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on July 27 , 1981, the Board of County Commissioners
authorized the purchase of the old Fort Lupton City Hall located
at 330 Park 'Avenue in Fort Lupton, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desire to purchase
the property and structure for the purpose of housing County
services for the benefit of Southern Weld County residents in a
consolidated facility, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners have authorized
the renovation of the facility to accommodate County services in
Southern Weld County.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commis-
sioners that effective January 18 , 1982, the facility located at
330 Park Avenue in Fort Lupton, Colorado, shall be designated the
"South Weld County Service Building" and shall house the following
County services:
1. Ambulance
2 . Clerk and Recorder
a) Motor Vehicle
b) Voter registration
c) Building permits
d) Septic permits
e) Receipt of Personnel applications
f) Marriage licenses
3. Sheriff substation for police services
4. D.A. Juvenile program
5. HRD
a) EODS and supplemental foods
6. Health Department
a) Nursing clinic
b) Environmental Health
c) Alcohol recovery center outpatient services
7. County Commissioner Southern Office

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that the County Clerk and Recorder shall designate her senior
staff person as the coordinator of the building since they have
individuals present in that office during normal business hours
at all times.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Building
and Grounds shall be responsible for all maintenance of the facility
and payment of all Building and Grounds maintenance costs since
the 1982 budget included amounts for such purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that appropriate press releases will be made to advise citizens
in Southern Weld County of the availability of County services
in the new South Weld County Service Building effective January 18,
1982.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
January, A.D. , 1982.
