RE: APPOINTMENT OF MICHAEL ERLAND AS RAY FOUTS ' TEMPORARY
REPLACEMENT ON THE UTILITY COORDINATING BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Ray Fouts is retiring from the Greeley Gas Company,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the Board of County
Commissioners that Michael Erland be appointed as Ray Fouts '
temporary replacement on said Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that Michael Erland be,
and hereby is, appointed as Ray Fouts temporary replacement
to the Utility Coordinating Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th
day of September, A.D. , 1981.

Gentlemen:
It is necessary for me to resign from the Utilities
Coordinating Board effective immediately. I am
being transferred to the Southwest Division of Greeley
Gas Company in Cortez .
Please consider my recommendation to have our Assistant
Superintendent, Mike Erland, represent Greeley Gas
Company temporarily until such time as we can appoint
someone as a permanent member of the Board.

The Board of County Commissioners has received and accented,
with regret, your letter of resignation from the Utilities
Coordinating Board.
The Board also accepts your recommendation of Mike Erland
for temporary representative for Greeley Gas; Mr. Erland will
be appointed as the temporary representative by resolution on
Tuesday, September 8, 1981 . We look forward to hearing from
Greeley Gas regarding a permanent appointment to the Utilities
Coordinating Board.
Your contributions to the activities of the Utilities
Coordinating Board have been valuable in maintaining an orderly,
efficient planning process for utilizing available space
consistently with economics and environments. On behalf of the
