RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND
CHILDREN COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Families, Youth and Children Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Janet Flaugher be appointed to said board
as the local school district representative, to replace Mike Hoover; and that Tracey Frank be
appointed to said board as the probation representative, to replace Carl Miller, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jennifer Higgins be reappointed to said
board as the clinic nurse representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Janet Flaugher and Tracey Frank,
and to reappoint Jennifer Higgins to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Janet Flaugher and Tracey Frank be, and hereby are, appointed
to the Families, Youth and Children Commission, with their terms to expire December 31, 2002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Jennifer Higgins be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Families, Youth and
Children Commission, with her term to expire December 31, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of March, A.D., 2000.
