FOR AN OIL AND GAS SUPPORT SERVICE (NATURAL GAS COMPRESSOR SITE) IN
THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - NORTH AMERICAN RESOURCES
COMPANY
A public hearing was conducted on June 21, 2000, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Sheri Lockman
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated June 5, 2000, and duly published June 8, 2000, in
the South Weld Sun, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of North American
Resources Company,c/o William G. Crews,Crews and Zeren Land Consultants,for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1270(Amending Special Use Permit#264)
for an Oil and Gas Support Service (natural gas compressor site) in the A (Agricultural) Zone
District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Sheri Lockman,
Department of Planning Services,stated the applicant has requested this matter be withdrawn and
a representative is not present. In response to Commissioner Hall, Ms. Lockman stated the
applicant submitted a written request, marked Exhibit E.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Hall moved to accept the request of North American Resources Company, Crews
and Zeren Land Consultants,to withdraw the application for a Site Specific Development Plan and
Use by Special Review Permit#1270 for an Oil and Gas Support Service (natural gas compressor
site) in the A (Agricultural)Zone District. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Vaad, and
it carried unanimously.
