RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVAL OF ROAD 66 RIGHT-OF-WAY DE-ANNEXATION AND AUTHORIZA-
TION FOR THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE PETITION CONCERNING SAID
DE-ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County ,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has informed the Board of County Commissioners that a portion
of the roadway of Road 66 is within the City limits of Windsor,
Colorado, said portion of roadway being more particulary des-
cribed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference, and
WHEREAS , a petition to de-annex that portion of roadway
has been presented to the Board of County Commissioners , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advis-
able to approve the Road 66 right-of-way de-annexation and
further to authorize the Chairman of the Board to sign the de-
annexation petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that approval is hereby
given to de-annex the Road 66 right-of-way as described in Ex-
hibit "A" attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that the Chairman of the Board be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign the de-annexation petition.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of
December, A.D. , 1980 .

EXHIBIT A
A tract of land located in the south half of Section 21, Township 6 North,
Range 67 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Section 21 and considering the south
line of the said Section 21 to bear N.89°36'20"W. with all bearings herein being
relative thereto:
Thence N.89°36'20"W. , 108.69 feet along the south line of Section 21 to a
point on the west right-of-way line of the Great Western Railway which is the
true point of beginning;
thence along the south line of Section 21, N.89°36'20"W. 2,743.55 feet;
thence leaving said south line and running N.0°21'20"W. , 314.36 feet to a
point;
thence S.89°36'20"E. , 4.03 feet to a point on the west line of Windsor
Village First Filing as recorded in Book 667, Reception Number 1589298 of the
Weld County Clerk and Recorder's records;
thence along said west line S.0°19'22"E. , 32.99 feet to the northwest
corner of Outlot B of Windsor Village First Filing;
thence along the north line of Outlot B the following courses and
distances:
S.89°36'20"E. , 144.39 feet;
S.85°3O'34"E. , 301.02 feet;
S.77°12'00"E. , 300.32 feet;
S.81°50'56"E. , 399.19 feet;
S.86°31'36"E. , 172.51 feet;
thence along the east line of Outlot B S.0°19'22"E. , 17.95 feet to a point;
thence leaving said Outlot B and running the following courses and distances:
S.85°10'18"E. , 128.62 feet;
S.86°50'01"E. , 695.48 feet;
S.89°32'42"E. , 613.57 feet;
to a point on the west right-ofway line of the Great Western Railway;
thence along said west right-of-way line S.0°12'26"E. , 70.00 feet to the
point of beginning and containing 9.1258 Acres more or less.

r PETITION
The undersigned , owner of the tract of land described in
Exhibit A, attached hereto, and made a part hereof by this
reference , hereby makes application to the Town of Windsor,
Colorado for disconnection of the tract described in Exhibit
A, from the corporate boundaries of the Town of Windsor.
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes , 1973 , as amended ,
the undersigned hereby petitions the Town of Windsor for
immediate favorable consideration of the foregoing application
for disconnection , and that the Town of Windsor shall enact an
ordinance effecting such disconnection .
