HomeMy WebLinkAbout20002294.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACCEPTANCE OF QUIT CLAIM DEED TRANSFERRING PROPERTY FROM ANTHONY M. HOWLAND, APPROVE QUIT CLAIM DEED TRANSFERRING SAID PROPERTY TO THE TOWN OF MEAD AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Coloraco, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Weld County Assessor's Office has previously separately assessed property located in the North Creek at Mead Annexation with the attributed taxpayer being Anthony M. Howland, such property being described in the attached Quit Claim Deed, and WHEREAS, said property consists of four Outlots originally intended to be dedicated to the Town of Mead for either drainage or park purposes, all having gone to tax sale in each of the past years since 1997, and WHEREAS, the Town of Mead is now willing to take ownership of said properties, and WHEREAS, said properties have been deeded to the County by Anthony M. Howland and now are ready for transfer by quit claim deed to the Town of Mead. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners cf Weld County, Colorado, that the attached Quit Claim Deed be, and hereby is, accepted. Howland of the first part, and the County of Weld, a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, whose address is 915 10th Street, Greeley. CO 80631, of the second part.
