RE: ACCEPTANCE OF QUIT CLAIM DEED TRANSFERRING PROPERTY FROM
ANTHONY M. HOWLAND, APPROVE QUIT CLAIM DEED TRANSFERRING SAID
PROPERTY TO THE TOWN OF MEAD AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Coloraco, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Assessor's Office has previously separately assessed
property located in the North Creek at Mead Annexation with the attributed taxpayer being
Anthony M. Howland, such property being described in the attached Quit Claim Deed, and
WHEREAS, said property consists of four Outlots originally intended to be dedicated to
the Town of Mead for either drainage or park purposes, all having gone to tax sale in each of
the past years since 1997, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Mead is now willing to take ownership of said properties, and
WHEREAS, said properties have been deeded to the County by Anthony M. Howland
and now are ready for transfer by quit claim deed to the Town of Mead.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners cf
Weld County, Colorado, that the attached Quit Claim Deed be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the transfer of said properties to the
Town of Mead by quit claim deed be, and hereby is, approved, and the Chair is authorized to
sign said deed.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THIS DEED, made this 2r day of September, 2000, between Anthony M. Howland of
the first part, and the County of Weld, a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, whose
address is 915 10th Street, Greeley. CO 80631, of the second part.
WIT NESSETH, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of good and
valuable consideration, to the said party of the first part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed
and acknowledged, has remised, released, sold, conveyed and QUIT CLAIMED, and by these
presents does remise, release. sell, convey and QUIT CLAIM unto the said party of the second
part, its heirs, successors and assigns, forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand
which the said party of the first part has in and to the following described lots or parcels of land
situate, lying and being in the County of Weld and State of Colorado, to wit:
Outlots A and D, as shown on the Amended Plat of North Creek at Mead, said Amended
Plat being recorded on December 16, 1994, in the Office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder
at Book 1472, Reception Number 2419334; and
Outlots B-A and C-A, as shown on North Creek at Mead, Replat "A," said Replat "A"
being recorded on June 30, 1995, in the Office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder at Book
1499, Reception Number 2445076.
TO HAVE AND 7'O HOLD the same, together with all and singular the appurtenances
and privileges thereunto belonging or in anywise thereunto appertaining, and all the estate, right.
title, interest and claim whatsoever, of the said party of the first part, either in law or equity, to
the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, heirs and assigns
forever.

seal the day and year first above written.

THIS DEED is made this 25"' day of September.2000, between the County of Weld, a body politic and
corporate of the State of Colorado, of the first part. and to the Town of Mead, a municipal corporation ,111
the State of Colorado, whose address is 441 3id Street, P.O. Box 626, Mead, CO 80542, of the second
part.
WITNESSETH, that the said party of the first part,for and in consideration of the, sum of One
Dollar($1.00), and other good and valuable consideration, to the said party of the first part in hand paid
by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged. has
remised, released, sold, conveyed and QUIT CLAIMED. and by these presents does remise, release,
