RE: APPOINTMENT OF DONNA BECHLER AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the termination of Jean Gillingham, a need exists to appoint another
Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the
desire of the Board to appoint Donna Bechler as Deputy Clerk to the Board and to rescind the
appointment of Jean Gillingham.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Donna Bechler be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the
Board, effective March 27, 2000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board, that the appointment of Jean Gillingham
be, and hereby is, rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of March, A.D., 2000, nunc pro tunc March 27, 2000.
