RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO CHILD PROTECTION
CITIZEN REVIEW PANEL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Child Protection Citizen Review Panel, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Shelley MartindelCampo be appointed to
said board, to replace Janet Flaugher, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kathleen Laurin and Gilbert Burgerhoff be
reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Shelley MartindelCampo to said
board, with her term to expire March 4, 2001.
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Kathleen Laurin and Gilbert
Burgerhoff to said board, with their terms to expire March 4, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Shelley MartindelCampo be, and hereby is, appointed to the Child
Protection Citizen Review Panel, with her term to expire March 4, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Kathleen Laurin and Gilbert Burgerhoff be, and hereby is, reappointed to the
Child Protection Citizen Review Panel, with their terms to expire March 4, 2003.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of March, A.D., 2000.
