Re: Docheff Dairy, Manure and Waste Water Management Plan.
Dear Mr. Dunker:
The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment(WCDPHE) has reviewed the Manure
& Wastewater Management Plan(the Plan) for the Docheff Dairy. The Plan, dated May 30, 2000, was
submitted under cover letter dated June 1,2000.
Based upon our review it appears that the Plan substantially complies with the Confined Animal Feeding
Operation Control Regulations (CAFO Regulations) and the standards found in Section 47 of the Wild
County Zoning Ordinance (WCZO). As a result,the WCDPHE approves the Plan.

Both you and Sharyn Frazer of Agpro Environmental Services have requested that we review and approve
the dust, odor, and fly abatement plans that were required as conditions of approval in USR-1257. These
plans had been previously submitted and were identified as "a supplement to the Manure and Wastewater
Management Plan" for the Docheff Dairy. We reviewed our files and found that we approved the Manure
and Wastewater Management Plan in a letter dated June 22, 2000, to Eric Dunker. Our intent was that
since the dust, odor, and fly plans were "a supplement"to the Wastewater Plan that we approved all of the
Plans in that June 22, 2000 letter. So, we consider all of the plans to be approved.
