RE: GRANT REQUEST OF THE MUSLUM STUDENTS ASSOCIATION FOR USE OF
THE 4-H BUILDING AND DENIAL OF RENTAL FEE WAIVER REQUEST
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Muslum Students Association has requested use
of the 4-H Building from March 27 through March 29 , 1981 and has
also requested that the rental fee for use of said 4-H Building
be waived, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to grant
said request for use of the 4-H Building, however, the 4-H
Building shall not be used by the Muslum Students Association
after 2: 00 a.m. nor shall the use of the building be resumed
before 6: 00 a.m. , and
WHEREAS, the Board feels that the request for waiver of
rental fees for use of the 4-H Building cannot be waived due to
the religious nature of the proposed use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of the
Muslum Students Association for use of the 4-H Building be, and
hereby is, granted, however, said building shall not be used
after 2: 00 a.m. nor shall use of the building be resumed before
6: 00 a.m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that the request of the Muslum Students Association for waiver
of the rental fee for use of the 4-H Building be, and hereby
is, denied.

The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
March, A.D. , 1981.

Gentlemen:
We are the International Students of Colorado writing to
ask if you kindly permit us to use the Community Building
for our religious convention at Greeley, Colorado during
the period 27th through 29th of March. 1981. This gather-
ing will be of no political or racial trends. It 1$ con-
centrating on religious matters. There will be a 24 hours
program on the 27th and 28th of March.. .This program will
be over by the midday of March 29, 1981.
Since there will be many studensts coming to attend this
convention, therefore we need to use all. the availabe
facilities, in the building.
We shall be obliged for your cooperation with us in the
following matters:-
1. As there will be night worshipping, so we would
like to have the place for our night activities.
2. We will be responsible for the safety and the
security of the place during the days of our
convention.
3. As the purposes of this convention are not for
profit-making, therefore, we wish that you will
charge us the lowest possible amount of money
that you can charge,
