hereinafter called "contractor".
WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payments and agreements
hereinafter mentioned:
1. The contractor will commence and complete the phased construction of
TWO RIVERS PARKWAY GREELEY-LOVELAND CANAL CONCRETE BOX CULVERT
• 2. The contractor shall furnish all material, supplies, tools,
equipment, labor and other services necessary for the construction
and completion of the project described herein.
3. The contractor shall commence the work required by the Contract
Documents in accordance with the date stated in the Special
Conditions and shall complete the work within the time stated in the
Special Conditions unless the period for completion is extended
otherwise by the Contract Documents.
• 4 . The contractor agrees to perform all of the work described in the

5. The term "Contract Documents" means and includes the following:

Number (Form W-9)
(H) Notice of Award
(I) Acceptance of Notice,
(J) Agreement
(K) Performance Bond
(L) Payment Bond

(P) Final Receipt and Guarantee

6. The. County will pay the contractor in the manner and at'such time as
set forth in •the General Conditions such amounts required by the Contract
Documents.
7 . This Agreement shall be binding upon all parties hereto and their
respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed, or caused to be executed by
their duly authorized officials, this Agreement, each of which shall be deemed an
original on the date first written above.

SUBJECT: Item for Chair's Signature
Enclosed is the Agreement between H &L Concrete, Inc. and Weld County for the construction of
Two Rivers Parkway Greeley-Loveland Canal Concrete Box Culvert. The bid has already been
approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
Please submit this document to the Chair for her signature and send an executed copy to my attention
by January 10, 2000. Construction is to scheduled to begin January 19, 2000. I do not need a
recorded copy for bonds and insurance to be issued. Thank you for your cooperation.
