Subject: Completion of Wastewater Ponds
Dear Mr. Harper:
This letter is a follow-up of yesterdays phone conversation. We discussed the matter of the lining
of your newly constructed wastewater ponds having an excessive amount of manure in it,resulting
in compaction problems. You stated that the work to resolve the compaction problem should be
completed by the first week of August, 2000.
The cover letter we received with your plan on January 26,2000, stated that"Harper Livestock has
already received a copy of the plans and has commenced discussions with a contractor to start
constructing the ponds soon." We acknowledge that you have made a concerted attempt to complete
this project. However, due to the extended period of time that it has taken to complete this project
and because Section 47 of the Weld County Ordinance requires a time line for completion, we
request that you submit an updated time line for completion of the project. Please provide the time
line within ten (10) days of receipt of this letter.
We appreciate your cooperation on this matter. If you have any questions,please do not hesitate to
