RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF USED 1979 GOMACO GT8500 ROAD SHOULDER
TRIMMER AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has need for a road shoulder trimmer, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Works recommends the purchase of
a used 1979 Gomaco GT8500 Road Shoulder Trimmer from Foster Equipment in the amount of
$38,000.00, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to purchase the above
equipment for$38,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the purchase of the above described equipment from Foster
Equipment in the amount of$38,000.00 be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of April, A.D., 2000.
