RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION VI #0000130 AGAINST HAROLD NELSON, C/O BLAKE NELSON FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Harold Nelson, c/o Blake Nelson, VI #0000130, is allegedly in violation of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance, and WHEREAS, on the 10th day of October, 2000, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and WHEREAS, Harold Nelson, c/o Blake Nelson, property owner, was not present at said hearing, and WHEREAS, at said hearing of October 10, 2000, the Board of County Commissioners determined the property owner has applied for a Use by Special Review Permit which, if approved, will resolve the violation, and deemed it advisable to dismiss said matter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners cf Weld County, Colorado, that VI #0000130 against Harold Nelson. c/o Blake Nelson, be, and hereby is, dismissed. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of October, A.D., 2000. Mr. Blake Nelson stated that the roping arena has been going for about 20+ years now. He didn't understand why he needed to get a permit now. I explained what I could to him and he said that he would be in within 3 week. I told him to expect a five-day letter. In front of his father, Harold Nelson, he, Blake Nelson, asked hat I mail everything through him. He stated that he now runs the arena. He was very cooperative. The arena very good size, painted, and very clean. He uses "Port-O-Pottys" for bathroom facilities.
