MEMORANDUM
TO: Board of County Commissioners March 30, 2000
COLORADO From: Julie A. Chester, Lead Planngr *'
/A
SUBJECT: Condition of approval 2.1. for USR-1251
The Department of Planning Services' is requesting the Board of County Commissioner's review
the above referenced Condition of Approval for USR-1251 (attached). Normally, as a part of the
Improvements Agreement, the applicant is required to post an approved form of collateral for the
improvements. However, the Department of Public Works has indicated that paving for this USR
does not need to be in place until four years from the date of approval of the application. It is the
recommendation of the County Attorney's Office, Department of Planning Services'and Department
of Public Works, that no collateral be required as a part of the Improvements Agreement. If the
paving is not in place after the four year time frame, the County may require an approved form of
collateral at that time.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
