Home My WebLink About20002561.tiff RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO OCTOBER 23, 2000 TAPE #2000-30 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, October 23, 2000, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tem Commissioner George E. Baxter- EXCUSED Commissioner Dale K. Hall Commissioner Glenn Vaad Also present: County Attorney, Bruce Barker Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden MINUTES: Commissioner Geile moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting of September 25, 2000, as printed. Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER SUBORDINATION AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN-ANGELINA GARZA: Tom Teixeira, Director of Greeley Meld County Housing Authority, stated this agreement will allow Angelina Garza to change her mortgage loans from a variable rate to a fixed rate. Commissioner Hall moved to approve said agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Geile,the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Barker stated the subordination agreement is sometimes not available until the day before the closing and it may be helpful to delegate authority to Mr. Teixeira to sign the agreement when necessary. Commissioners Hall and Geile agreed to amend the motion as indicated by Mr. Barker. The amended motion carried unanimously. CONSIDER WELD COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY ANNUAL PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001: Mr. Teixeira stated the 2001 Plan outlines how the Section 8 Program is to be managed, and the State will review and respond or adopt the plan. Commissioner Vaad moved to approve said plan. Commissioner Geile seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
