RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO LONG TERM CARE BIO-
ETHICS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kerrie Cargill-Hitchcock be appointed to
said board to replace Elmer Burkhard; Judi DeVore be appointed to replace Dee Perkins; Kathy
Gardner be appointed to replace Dee Perkins; Ann Lundquist be appointed to replace Janis
McCall; Stephanie McCune be appointed to replace Charles Weishaupt; James Utzinger be
appointed to replace Karyn Prochoda; Elizabeth Schwicker be appointed to replace Dawn
Miller; Jayne Southard be appointed to replace Nancy Jones; Cherrie Thornton be appointed to
replace Tami Reich; and Bonnie Wacker be appointed as an additional member, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Milberrn Goetz and Charles Connell be
reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Kerrie Cargill-Hitchcock, Judi
DeVore, Kathy Gardner, Ann Lundquist, and Stephanie McCune to said board, with their terms
to expire January 1, 2003, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint James Utzinger and Elizabeth
Schwicker to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jayne Southard, Cherrie Thornton,
and Bonnie Wacker to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 2002, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Milberrn Goetz and Charles
Connell to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 2003, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Kerrie Cargill-Hitchcock, Judi DeVore, Kathy Gardner, Ann
Lundquist, and Stephanie McCune be, and hereby are, appointed to the Long Term Care Bio-
Ethics Committee, with their terms to expire January 1, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that James Utzinger and Elizabeth Schwicker be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with their terms to expire January 1, 2001.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Jayne Southard, Cherrie Thornton, and Bonnie Wacker be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with their terms to expire January 1,
2002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Milberrn Goetz and Charles Connell be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Long
Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with their terms to expire January 1, 2003.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of February, A.D., 2000.
