RE: APPROVE QUIT CLAIM DEED AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - NORTHERN
COLORADO ANIMAL LEAGUE, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim Deed between the Counl:y
of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, and the Northern Colorado Animal League, Inc., 1620 42nd Street, Evans, Colorado
80620, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said Quit Claim Deed, for all of the
property described in the attached Exhibit "A," together with any improvements and/or personal
property located thereon, without reversion as stated in Section 4 of the Agreement approved
by Resolution #760368, by the Board of County Commissioners on May 12, 1976, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said Quit Claim
Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Quit Claim Deed between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and the
Northern Colorado Animal League, Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said Quit Claim Deed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of April, A.D., 2000.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THIS DEED, made this 26 day of April , 2000, between the COUNTY OF
WELD, a political subdivision of the STATE OF COLORADO, of the first part, and THE
NORTHERN COLORADO ANIMAL LEAGUE, INC., a Colorado non-profit corporation, of
the second part.
WITNESSETH, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of One
Dollar($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, to the said party of the first part, the
receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, has remised, released, sold, conveyed
and QUIT CLAIMED, and by these presents does remise, release, sell, convey and QUIT
CLAIM unto the said party of the second part, its heirs, successors and assigns, forever, all the
right, title, interest, claim and demand which the said party of the first part has in and to the
following described lots or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the County of Weld and
State of Colorado, to wit:
All of the real property described in the attached Exhibit "A," together with any
improvements and/or personal property located thereon, without reversion as stated in
Section 4 of the original Agreement between the first party and second party executed on
May 12, 1976.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all and singular the appurtenances
and privileges thereunto belonging or in anywise thereunto appertaining, and all the estate, right,
title, interest and claim whatsoever, of the said party of the first part, either in law or equity, to
the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, heirs and assigns
forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, 1, Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair of the Board of County
Commissioners of said County of Weld, State of Colorado, on behalf of said County and by
virtue of the Order contained in the Resolution made by said Board of County Commissioners on
the 26 day of April , 2000, have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said
County this 26 day of April , 2000, for the uses and purposes therein set forth.

EXHIBIT "A"
A tract of land located in the Southeast Quarter(SE 1/4)
of Section 1, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the
6th P. M., Weld County, Colorado, lying North and West of the
Ogilvy Ditch as the same is now constructed, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the North Quarter Corner (N 1/4 Cor.) of said
Section 1, and considering the North-South centerline of
Section 1, as bearing South 00°33' 14" West, with all other
bearings contained herein being relative thereto; Thence
South 00°33' 14" West, along the North-South centerline of
said Section 1, 3175.57 feet to a point on the Southerly
R-O-W line of Colo. State Hwy. No. 263; Thence along said
Southerly R-O-W line North 78°10' 11" East, 1100.70' to a
point, said point being the True Point of Beginning; Thence
continuing along said Southerly R-O-W line North 78°10' 11"
East, 312.63' to a point on the approximate Northwesterly
R-O-W line of the Ogilvy Ditch as the same is now constructed;
Thence along approximate Northwesterly R-O-W line of said
Ogilvy Ditch the following courses and distances:
South 16°52' 20" East, 86.12 feet;
South 21°42' 45" East, 213.39 feet,
South 09°28' 09" West, 84.09 feet,
South 50°06' 41" West, 103.06 feet,
South 77°33' 22" West, 135.50 feet,
South 79°23' 31" West, 159.38 feet to a point; Thence
leaving said Ogilvy Ditch R-O-W and continuing North 03°47' 04"
West, 425.12' to a point on the Southerly R-O-W line of said
Colo. State Hwy. No. 263 said point being the True Point of
Beginning. Said described tract of land contains 3.476 Acres,
more or less and is subject to any R-O-W or other easements
as granted or reserved by instruments of record or as now
existing on said tract of land.
