Everist, Inc. Dear Sheble, Enclosed please find for review and approval two Statements of Existing for Septic System for the two houses on the Fort Lupton property owned by L.G. Everist, Inc.. In addition to the Statements, there are copies of receipts from this year's septic tank cleaning, and maps on the back on both Statements, plus an index map to help in the location of the site. A check for$200 is enclosed to cover the two septic permits for the two houses. (Although mentioned in my submittal of October 30, 2000, it was accidentally not enclosed.) The houses will only be used during the growing season for the next few years, by seasonal agricultural workers of the former owner while parts of the property are still farmed. Prior to mining that area, we will abandon the existing septic system according to Weld County I.S.D.S. regulations. As we discussed, Condition 2C applies to the houses, not to the septic system that we will be installing for the miners, as was mistakenly assumed. As we discussed, Condition 2C will be dropped, as it is not applicable for this site. As mentioned in the previous letter, we will use portable toilets for the mining employees during the set-up of mining operations and construction of the slurry wall. We will install the septic system for mining employees in conjunction with the set-up of the office/scale house. As soon as the Statement of Existing is deemed complete by your office we would like to schedule the evaluation. If you need anything else, please let me know. I can be reached at 303-287-4656 ext. 18. Thank you for your help thus far. Sincerely, vl Lynn E. M er Regulato Compliance cc: R.A. Everist - L.G.
