A regular meeting of the Weld County Utilities Coordinating Advisory Committee was held on Thursday,
January 13, 2000, at 10:00 a.m., in the Conference Room of the Weld County Administrative Offices at 1555
N. 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado.
Members Present: Cody Wooldridge, CWCWD; Gary Sandau, LaSalle F.P.D.; Jerry Adams, Greeley Gas
Company; Don Carroll, Public Works.
Also Present: Danny Perdew,Wayne Perdew, Faith Tabernacle Church; Kim Ogle, Department of Planning
Services; Trisha Swanson, Secretary.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Block 1, Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7 of the Alexander Peterson
Subdivision; Part of Section 18, Township 5 North, Range
66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
LOCATION: East of and adjacent to WCR 29 (71st Ave); north of and adjacent
to US Hwy 34 Bypass Frontage Road (28th St.)
REQUEST: Vacation of Block 1, Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, &7 of the Alexander
Peterson Subdivision.
Kim Ogle presented Case Z-518. Kim stated Faith Tabernacle Church is going through the USR application
process and wants to place the church on several lots in Peterson-Alexander subdivision. A condition of
approval for the USR is the vacation of Lots 2-7 of Block 1 to place the church at this site.
Don Carroll mentioned that they had copies from several agencies concerning the vacation of the lots and
asked if there were any conflicts with any service providers. Danny Perdew said not to his knowledge. The
committee mentioned that there was no utility easement on the north side of the property. Danny stated he
would be comfortable with adding one to the plat.
Gary Sandau asked if there was a letter from the Fire District concerning the placement of the hydrant on the
site in regards to the building. He asked for a letter from the Fire District approving the placement or a change
of placement with the Fire Districts approval.
Cody Wooldridge moved to accept the plat with the addition of a 15' utility easement on the north side of the
site, which is immediately south of Lots 1 &8 of the Peterson-Alexander Subdivision and a letter from the Fire
District approving placement of the fire hydrant. Jerry Adams seconded the motion. Motion passed
unanimously.
