RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO UNDESIRABLE PLANT
MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Undesirable Plant Management Advisory
Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Cynthia Turner be appointed to said board
to replace Thomas Karlberg, and Karen Scopel and David Cook be reappointed to said board,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Cynthia Turner to said board, with
her term to expire August 19, 2003, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Karen Scopel and David Cook to
said board, with their terms to expire August 19, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Cynthia Turner be, and hereby is, appointed to the Undesirable
Plant Management Advisory Commission, with her term to expire August 19, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Karen Scopel and David Cook be, and hereby are, reappointed to the
Undesirable Plant Management Advisory Commission, with their terms to expire August 19,
2003.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of August, A.D., 2000.
