RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF THE DIGITAL CAMERAS AND
ACCESSORIES BID -ASSESSOR'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for the Digital Cameras and Accessories Bid for the Assessor's Office, Bid Request
No. B0000150, to obtain the equipment to be used in sales comparisons for property valuation
protest situations, as well as incorporate the photographs into the new imaging system, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-
day waiting period for said bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for the Digital Cameras and
Accessories Bid for the Assessor's Office, Bid Request No. B0000150 be, and hereby is,
waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Mike's Camera, Inc., in
the amount of$13,282.00, be, and hereby is, accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of May, A.D., 2000.
