RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Leo Weaver be appointed to said board as
an at-large representative, to replace Judy Yamaguchi; Jennifer Brown be appointed as an at-
large representative, to replace Charles Baum; and Charles Baum be appointed as the District
6 representative to replace Mary Stoll, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Leo Weaver to said board, with his
term to expire May 23, 2003, and appoint Jennifer Brown and Charles Baum, which their terms
to expire May 23, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Leo Weaver be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Public
Health, with his term to expire May 23, 2003; and Jennifer Brown and Charles Baum be, and
hereby are, appointed to said board, with terms expiring May 23, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 31st day of May, A.D., 2000.
