Weld County Council To Interview
Applicants for District 3 Council Position
The Weld County Council will meet March 23, 2000, 6:30 p.m. at the Weld
County Centennial Center, 915 10`h Street, Greeley, Co to interview two District 3
Councilman applicants. The applicants became eligible to be interviewed when they
submitted a resume to the Council by March 17.
The chosen applicant will fill the District 3 position on the Council which became
open when Rob Masden, Hudson resident, filed to seek the District 3 seat on the Board
of Weld County Commissioners.
The Weld County Council, created by the Weld County Home Rule Charter in
1976, consists of five nonpartisan elected members, one representing each district and
two at-large members. The Council members receive no salary for their services, but
are reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses.
