RE: St. Vrain Valley Open Lands and Trails Project

Dear Mr. Moore:
On October 13, 1999, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved, by Resolution,
the St. Vrain Valley Open Lands and Trails Project Consulting Agreement. The Agreement is between Weld
County and Colorado Open Lands. A copy of the signed Agreement and approving Resolution are enclosed.
Section 3 requires the services to be performed pursuant to the Agreement to be completed by April 30 2000. It is
the understanding of the Board of County Commissioners that the services are expected to be completed in July or
August., 2000. Therefore, perhaps a more realistic completion date in the Agreement is September 1, 2000
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County has nc
objection to the extension of the completion date to September 1, 2000.
