AVENUE COURT - FAITH TABERNACLE CHURCH, C/O DANNY PERDEW
A public hearing was conducted on August 30, 2000. at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tern
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Dale K. Hall - EXCUSED
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle
Health Department representative, Pam Smith
Public Works representative, Don Carroll
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated August 14, 2000, a public hearing was conducted
to consider the request of Faith Tabernacle Church, do Danny Perdew,for Resubdivision, S#518,
for vacation of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, Block 1, Peterson-Alexander Subdivision, including the
southern portion of 70th Avenue Court. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a
matter of record. Chair Kirkmeyer commented that the Clerk to the Board's Office is requesting
this matter be continued to September 20, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. because a notice was sent to the
newspaper on August 14, 2000, to be published in the August 17, 2000, paper; however, the
newspaper failed to publish the notice. In response to Chair Kirkmeyer,Julie Chester, Department
of Planning Services, stated the applicant's representative has indicated that he will be able to
attend the hearing on September 20, 2000.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Vaad moved to continue the request of Faith Tabernacle Church, cio Danny
Perdew, for Resubdivision. S #518, for vacation of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, Block 1, Peterson-
Alexander Subdivision, including the southern portion of 70th Avenue Court, to September 20,
2000, at 10:00 a.m., to allow adequate time to publish a notice for this matter. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Baxter, and it carried unanimously.
