RE: APPROVE VACATION OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT #438 FOR A DAIRY OPERATION
(220-HEAD) IN THE A(AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - JAMES AND JUDY
DOCHEFF
WHEREAS., the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS., by Resolution dated September 10, 1980, the Board did approve Special
Use Permit #438 for a 220-head Dairy Operation in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, for James
and Judy Docheff, on the following described real estate, to-wit:
A parcel of land located in the SW114 of Section
29, Township 3 North, Range 68 West of the 6th
P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from James Docheff, 1441 Weld County
Road 28, Longmont, Colorado 80504, to vacate said Special Use Permit#438 for a 220-head
Dairy Operation in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of
the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this
matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Special Use Permit#438 for a 220-head Dairy Operation in the A
(Agricultural) Zone District be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: SUP #438
Mr. Jim Docheff is requesting the vacation of Special Use Permit (SUP)#438. SUP#438 was for
a 220 head dairy operation.
On May 15, 2000, the Weld County Board of Commissioners approved Mr. Docheff's request for
Use by Special Review Permit(USR)#1257. USR#1257 is for a Livestock Confinement Operation
(Dairy) and Animal Feeding Operation for 1,800 head of cattle and 24 horses. A Condition of
Approval attached to USR#1257 required that SUP #438 be vacated.
