COMMENT PERIOD EXTENDED
PUBLIC ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW CDOT'S 20-YEAR PLAN
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has extended the public comm.nt period
to gain input on the draft 2020 Statewide Transportation Plan: Investing in Colorado's Future, to
September 8, 2000. The plan, which covers fiscal years 2001-2020, identifies projected revenues,
programs and proposed transportation projects scheduled for the next 20 years. The draft plan takes into
account multiple modes of travel, socio-economic projections and environmental considerations. It was
developed with local, regional, and state input from within the state's 15 Transportation Planning Regions
(TPRs).
Copies of the draft statewide plan are available for review at any county clerk office, local library.
