RE: DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on April 25, 1981 the City of Greeley will be holding an auction
for the purpose of disposing of surplus government property, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley has invited Weld County to participate in
the auction of surplus government property, and
WHEREAS, County elected officials and department heads have recommended
items to be declared surplus property and the surplus property has been examined
by the Director of Finance and Administration who concurs that the property
itemized on the attached Exhibits is no longer required for the operation of
Weld County Government and should be disposed of through sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that all items itemized on the attached Exhibits be,
and hereby are, declared surplus property in accordance with the Weld County
Home Rule Charter and appropriate state statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Administration and
Purchasing Agent are hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the itemized
surplus property at an auction to be held April 25, 1981 in conjunction with the
City of Greeley.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Administration
is further directed to deposit all proceeds from the sale of the attached items
into the General Fund of Weld County.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of April, A.D. , 1981.

Subject: Annual Auction
Once again, the City of Greeley and Weld County will have a joint auction
on April 25, 1981 of surplus property. In order to accommodate this it
is requested that all department heads and elected officials send a list
of any surplus property to the purchasing agent no later than April 7, 1981
in order to include the items in the auction. Once the list has been compiled
a representative from purchasing will contact each individual department to
make arrangement to pick up the items and get them to the auction.
