ORDINANCE NO. 84-X
IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 84-W, THE SETTING OF FEES FOR
SERVICES PROVIDED BY WELD COUNTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF
WELD, STATE OF COLORADO:
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority
of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, has the
authority, under State statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, to establish certain fees
for services provided by the various departments of Weld County Government, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County desires, through this
Ordinance, to amend the ambulance service fees to comply with Medicare rate schedules.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Weld, State of Colorado,that Ordinance No. 84-W be, and hereby is, amended, and the
fee schedule for the Weld County Ambulance Service set forth in Exhibit "A", a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, shall be the fees charged by Weld County
for ambulance services.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that all other fees established by Ordinance No.
84-W be, and hereby are, unchanged.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the effective date of said ambulance fee
schedule shall be January 1, 2001, and such fees shall remain in full force and effect until the
Board ordains to change such fees.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board, if any section, subsection, paragraph,
sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held or decided to be
unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof. The
Board of County Commissioners hereby declares that it would have enacted this Ordinance in each
and every section,subsection, paragraph,sentence,clause,and phrase thereof irrespective of the
fact that any one or more sections,subsections, paragraphs,sentences,clauses,or phrases might
be declared to be unconstitutional or invalid.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that an emergency exists which requires that
Ordinance No. 84-X be, and hereby is,declared to be an emergency ordinance under the provision
of Section 3-14 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter.
The above and foregoing Ordinance Number 84-X was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of December, A.D., 2000.
