RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FINAL
PLAN, S #562 - FLOYD AND KATHARINE OLIVER
A public hearing was conducted on November 1, 2000, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 9, 2000, and duly published October 2,
2000, in the South Weld Sun, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Floyd and
Katharine Oliver for a Site Specific Development Plan and Planned Unit Development Final Plan,
S #562, for the Meadow Vale Farm Planned Unit Development, Third Filing. Lee Morrison,
Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Anne Best Johnson, Department of
Planning Services, gave a brief description of the proposal as entered into the record. She gave
a brief description of the location of the site which is 44.42 acres in size and is accessed from Weld
County Road 5.5. Ms. Johnson stated staff recommends approval for the reasons indicated in the
Administrative Review. She further stated the applicant is proposing to designate 8 acres for
wetlands and preservation, and they are amending this portion of land out of Use by Special
Review Permit#1199. In response to Chair Kirkmeyer, Diane Houghtaling, Department of Public
Works, stated the applicant will be required to submit roadway plans for Weld County Road 5,5.
In response to Chair Kirkmeyer, Floyd Oliver, applicant, stated he has reviewed and agrees with
the Conditions of Approval. In response to Commissioner Geile, Mr. Oliver stated the Sheriff's
Office responded to a referral requesting he provide lighting and fencing around any ponds or oil
facilities. He further stated the site is within the United Power service area which installed the
electrical lines for the lighting system, and he is billed on a monthly basis for the electrical power.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Hall moved to approve the request of Floyd and Katharine Oliver for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Planned Unit Development Final Plan, S#562, for the Meadow Vale Farm
Planned Unit Development,Third Filing, based on the recommendations of the Planning staff,with
the Conditions of Approval as entered into the record. The motion was seconded by Commissioner
Baxter, and it carried unanimously.
