The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Board of
Social Services in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in
the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, January 10, 2000, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members were
present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther E. Gesick
Director of Finance and Administration, Don Warden
MINUTES: Commissioner Vaad moved to approve the minutes of the Board of Social Services meeting
of January 5, 2000, as printed. Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.
WARRANTS: Esther Gesick, Deputy Clerk to the Board, presented the warrants for approval by the Board
in the amount of $40,738.50. Commissioner Vaad moved to approve the warrants as presented by Ms.
Gesick. Commissioner Geile seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
CONSIDER CHILD PROTECTION AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN-
NORTH COLORADO OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE:Judy Griego, Director of Social Services,stated under
this agreement North Colorado Occupational Medicine will provide annual physical examinations and
tuberculosis test results for Weld County certified foster parents and their biological children. For these
services, North Colorado Occupational Medicine will be reimbursed$55.00 per person,funded by the Child
Welfare Allocation. Commissioner Vaad moved to approve said agreement and authorize the Chair to
sign. Seconded by Commissioner Baxter, the motion carried unanimously.
CONSIDER MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR RECORD STORAGE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR
TO SIGN -ARMORED ARCHIVES: Ms. Griego stated this agreement will replace the current agreement
and add new services including storage, retrieval, inventory, and destruction of records, at a cost of
$350.00 per month depending on the amount of records stored. Commissioner Baxter moved to approve
said agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Hall, the motion carried
unanimously.

There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
