(Tri- State) is planning on constructing a new 115 kV transmission line to serve its member, United Power, Inc. Due to increased growth north of Denver this line is imperative to meet the increasing electrical demands of the area. The scope of study for this proposed transmission line is the area east of 1-25 from Dacono north near Frederick and Firestone to the Del Camino Substation located just south of Colorado Highway 66. Tri-State is arranging to have another meeting at its offices to give a project status report and talk about the environmental and routing aspects of the project. We would like to discuss what we identified as possible positives and negatives in the project area and how it affects our process. We would also like to be able to narrow down the possible routes with your input from this meeting. The date for this meeting has been tentatively set for April 27`h at 1 :30p.m. at Tri-State's offices in Westminster.
