RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING
ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exists on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that James Holman be appointed to said board
to replace Mary Fox, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Cruz be reappointed to said board,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint James Holman, and reappoint
John Cruz to said board, with their terms to expire January 31, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that James Holman be, and hereby is, appointed to the Area Agency
on Aging Advisory Board, with his term to expire January 31, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that John Cruz be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory
Board, with his term to expire January 31, 2003.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of January, A.D., 2000.
