1. Explain,in detail the proposed use of the property
To host a field corn maze,sell pumpkins,sweet can and other vegetables.Give hay rides,pony rides and
tractor rides.To have a animal petting zoo.Possibly later build a barn and rent it out for meetings and other
social events. Host field trips for area schools. In good farming practice this project may rotate from field to
field this is the reason for multiple site plans.Ticket and concessions booths will be place in areas that best
serve our visitors.
2. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Comprehensive Plan.
Though the preservation,enhancement and growth of agriculture. It will supplement our farm income while
providing entertaining and educational experience for all.This will allow us to be a viable and profitable
agricultural business.We are not located within a flood hazard zone,a geologic hazard zone or airport
overlay zone.
3. Explain how his proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance and the zone
district in which it is located.
By raising sweet corn and pumpkins and having a maze will promote rural atmosphere as permitted in the
"A"district.
4. What type of uses surround the site?Explain how the proposed use is consistent and compatible with
surrounding land uses.
Agricultural land surround this site. Being everything we are proposing to do is agriculture based I believe
that it is bolt)consistent and compatible with surrounding land uses.
5. Describe,in detail the following:
a. How many people will use this site?
During peak periods we are anticipating 400 people at any given time.
b. How many employees are proposed to be employed at this site.
10 part-time employees.
c. What are the hours of operation?
9:00 am to 10:00pm
d. What type and how many structures will be erected(built)on this site?
We are planing on renting for awhile a couple of small shed to sell ticket from and to sell concessions from.
Later we hope to build a barn that will serve as both.
e. What type and how many animals,if any,will be on this site?
Any and all animals associated with a"typical"farming operation may be present at the site.This will include
such animals as(cattle,horses,sheep,goats,pigs, poultry, rabbits,ducks, etc.).the number of farm animals
present at the site will not exceed that permitted as a"use by right".
f. What vehides(type/size/weight)will access this site&how often?
Cars to SWs.School buses
g. Who will provide fire protection to the site?
LaSalle volunteer fire dept.
h. What is the water source on the property(both domestic&irrigation)
Domestic water is from central weld. Irrigation is both from wells and western ditch company.
i. Describe the sewage disposal system(existing&proposed)on premise.
To start off we will use adequate portable toilets.Later we may add septic system.
j. If storage or warehousing is proposed,what type of items are stored?

6. Explain the proposed landscaping for the site.
None
7. Explain and proposed reclamation procedures when termination of the use by special review activity
accrues.
No reclamation will be needed.
8. Explain how the storm water drainage will be handled on the site.
There is adequate drainage now.
9. Explain how long it will take to construct this site and when construction and landscaping is scheduled to
tin.
No major construction or landscaping are planned.
10. explain where storage and/or stockpile of wastes will occur o the site
Trash will be gathered as needed and will be removed by us and truck to a land fill or by a trash company.

Because of the temporary nature of this project I believe that port-a-potties are the best way to serve
this site. If this project is successful a permanent facility will be considered at that time We will than do
the necessary steps in getting an appropriate septic system installed.

Special Review Permit
On my original app. I stated that I was going to have a full concessions
stand. After further consideration I have changed my mind and only want
to sell canned pop and packaged food. I do however want to consider
selling open food somewhere down the line. At that time I will comply to all
county regulations.
To handle waste water from hand washing I would like to use a temporary
or permanent vault holding system.
