RE: APPROVE REPLAT OF LOTS 7, 8 and 9, BLOCK 5, TOWN OF GILL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of February, 1982, a public meeting
was held before the Board of County Commissioners upon the application
of Edna Warren for a replat of Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 5 , in the
Town of Gill, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard the testimony
and statements of those present and has studied the request and the
recommendations of the Weld County Planning Commission, and having
been fully informed, is satisfied that the proposed replat is in
compliance with Section 6-4 A. (1) of the Weld County Subdivision
Regulations. This determination is based on the following:
A. The parcels being replotted are in compliance with all
applicable regulations;
B. Drainage easements or rights-of-way reserved for drainage
have not been changed;
C. Street locations and street rights-of-way have not been
changed;
D. The plat has not been altered in any way which would
adversely affect the character of the original subdiv-
ision plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners that the replat of Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 5, Town of Gill
be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of February,
A.D. , 1982.

Moved by Jerry Kiefer that the following resolution be introduced for
passage by the Weld County Planning Comission:
Be it Resolved by the Weld County Planning Commission that the Subdivision
Plat replat located on the following described pro-
perty in Weld County, Colorado, to-wit:
Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 5, town of Gill, Colorado
be recommended (favorably) ( k 'I ') to the Board of County Commissioners
for the following reasons:
1. It is the opinion of the Weld County Planning Commission that his request
is in compliance with Section 6-4 A. (1) of the Weld County Subdivision
Regulations. The determination is based on the following:
A. The parcels being replatted are in compliance with all applicable
regulations;
B. Drainage easements or rights-of-way reserved for drainage have
not been changed;
C. Street locations and street rights-of-way have not been changed;
D. The plat has not been altered in any way which would adversely
affect the character of the original subdivision plat.
2. North Weld County Water District and Home Light and Power are currently
serving the property and have no objections to this request.

WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, requesting that the alleys in
Block 5 and the alleys in Block 6, in the unincorporated Town of Gill,
Weld County, Colorado, be abandoned and vacated, said alleys being
located adjacent to property nearly wholly owned by the aforementioned
• petitioners, and said alleys being more particularly described as fol-
low, to-wit:
That portion of east - west alley lying between
First Street and its intersection with north -
south alley in Block 5, and that portion of north -
south alley lying between Third Avenue and
Fourth Avenue in Block 5, in the Town of Gill,
Weld County, Colorado; and
That portion of north - south alley lying between
Fourth Avenue and its intersection with east -
west alley in Block 6, and that portion of east -
west alley lying between Second Street and Third
Street in Block 6, in the Town of Gill, Weld
County, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the Board, after investigation of all of the facts and
circumstances surrounding the petitions, that after personal
investi-
gation of the hereinabove described alleys sought to be vacated, has
determined that the necessity of the public no longer requires those
portions of alleys; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County,
Colorado, believes it to be in the best interest of the public, and Weld
County, to approve said petitions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County.
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the aforementioned alleys
in Block 5 and the aforementioned alleys in Block 6, all in the unincor-
porated Town of Gill, Weld County, Colorado, be and they are hereby
declared abandoned, vacated, and closed, in accordance with the sub-
mitted petitions.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of April

We attach hereto an Application for Subdivision Exemption
and picture copies of a deed vesting title to the following
described real property located in the County of Weld and State
of Colorado, to wit :
Lots 7 , 8 and 9 in Block 5 in the Town of
Gill , Weld County, Colorado ,
in Edna Margaret Warren. Copy of the death certificate of Charles
Laybourn Warren , a copy of an Affidavit of Identity identifying
Charles Laybourn Warren as one and the same identical person as
Charles L. Warren and a Release of Colorado Inheritance Tax, all
of which documents were filed under the following reception
numbers : 1652834 , 1812324 , 1812325 , and 1812327 .
We also hand you herewith a surveyor ' s plot plan
and our check for the sum of $30 . 00.
As is revealed by the plot plan, Mrs. Warren wants
to divide Lots 7 , 8 , and 9 into two lots . Roughly the east 93 . 3
feet of the East lot of 7 , 8 and 9 are to be transferred to
her son, Charles Dewey Warren and his wife , Judith Marilyn Warren.
She will retain ownership of the balance of the lot upon which
she will reside .
