RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF GEORGE (PHIL) SHOVAR TO NORTH COLORADO
MEDICAL CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the North Colorado Medical Center Board of
Trustees, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that George (Phil) Shovar be appointed to said
board, to replace Carole Anderson, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint George (Phil) Shovar to said
board, with his term to expire January 14, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that George (Phil) Shovar be, and hereby is, appointed to the North
Colorado Medical Center Board of Trustees, with his term to expire January 14, 2003.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of February, A.D., 2000.
