Dear Commissioners:
As you may know, D & D Commodities, Ltd. is attempting to build a bird seed processing facility
on the referenced property. A recorded exemption has been obtained for the property as well as a
change of zone, and a Site Plan has been submitted. We are now submitting a Building Permit
Application and respectfully request the Commissioners to approve an early release of the Building
Permit to allow commencement of construction. The project timing of our construction contractor
having manpower and equipment ready to go as well as the impending weather change necessitates
that we move forward as quickly as possible.
My client recognizes there are additional risks in proceeding with construction prior to approval of
the Site Plan and Building Permit. and it is willing to assume those risks.
I would appreciate your consideration of D&D's request of an early release of a Building Permit.
