RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING SHOW CAUSE HEARING TO DETERMINE
WHETHER GOOD CAUSE EXISTS NOT TO RENEW TAVERN LIQUOR LICENSE -
ROMANCE, INC., DBA CLUB ROMANCE/LUCKY STAR
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a Show Cause hearing before the Board was held on the 12th day of
February, 2001, to determine whether good cause exists not to renew the Tavern Liquor
License for Romance, Inc., dba Club Romance/Lucky Star, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter at
the request of the representatives for Romance, Inc., dba Club Romance/Lucky Star, due to a
conflict of schedules.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
February 14, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of February, A.D., 2001.
