RE: DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has approved a
bid on a vehicle to replace a 1975 Ford, identification #5X11Y153965,
being utilized by the Weld County District Attorney' s office and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said Pinto be declared
surplus property and the Director of Finance and Administrative
Services concurs that the vehicle is no longer required for the
operation of Weld County government and should be disposed of
through sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the 1975 Ford,
identification #5X11Y153965, be, and hereby is, declared surplus
property in accordance with the Weld County Home Rule Charter and
appropriate state statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and
Administrative Services and the Purchasing Agent are hereby
authorized and directed to dispose of said Ford vehicle at the
auction to be conducted in Commerce City in conjunction with Adams
County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED thaty the Director of Finance and
Administrative Services is further directed to deposit all proceeds
from the sale of said Ford into the General fund of Weld County.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
September, A. D. , 1981.
