We know for a sad fact of life that mobile homes (manufactured houses) do not appreciate in value. This home was assembled in 1958, almost half a century ago, and was not built with the concept of holding its value. Though we do our best to keep the home in safe and secure condition, it just couldn't be sold for $4,995.00, the amount the assessor attached to it. If it would bring$5,000.00, our company would indeed sell it, immediately. This hearing will be held at the Weld County Centennial Center, First Floor Hearing Room, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado. You have a right to attend this hearing and present evidence in support of your petition. The Weld County Assessor or his designee will be present. The Board will make its decision on the basis of the record made at the aforementioned hearing, as well as your petition, so it would be in your interest to have a representative present.
