HomeMy WebLinkAbout830693.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 684 - EFFIE DETERTS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado on the 20th day of April, 1983 , considered the request of Effie Deterts for a mobile home to be used as a principal dwelling on a parcel of land, which is to be occupied in an A- Agricultural Zone District, more particularly described as follows: Part of the SE4, Section 24 , T1N, R66W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard the testimony, finds that said request should be granted NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Effie Deterts for permission to place a mobile home to be used as a principal dwelling on the above described parcel of land, which was found to be in compliance with the Weld County Zoning Ordi- nance, Section 43 , be, and hereby is, granted. Location: 1.5 miles north of T.ochbuie on Weld County Road 6 The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and recommends that the request be approved for the reasons: WILL WILL NOT Be compatible with the Weld County Comprehensive XX Plan. Be compatible with the surrounding area . XX Be in harmony with the character of the neighborhood. xx Adversely affect the immediate area. XX Be adequately served by water and sewage disposal XX facilities . Adversely affect the general health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the area and the xx County. COMMENTS: Approval of ZPMH #684 was conditioned upon the fact that the structure shall comply with all Weld County Building Code requirements. This action was taken by the Board of County Commissioners on December 1, 1982. Weld County Building Permit #20064 for said structure was finaled on March 9, 1983. However, the permit classified the structure properly as a mobile home with an attached addition. The addition met all Weld County Building Code requirements. Mobile homes do not meet Uniform Building Code requirements for aframe built home. The mobile home is still transportable as it is built on a chassis and has the capability of being towed. A wood shell over a mobile home does not change the definition of this living unit. The Department of Planning Services staff recommends approval of this Zoning Permit for a Mobile Home to be used as a principal dwelling. Michael S.
