Re: 800mhz Solutions Team.
Dear Sir:
The City of Fort Lupton, along with the Fort Lupton Fire Protection District, have appointed a "solutions
team" to begin working toward upgrading our communications to 800 mhz. While still a few years from
completion, we feel it is important to work with Weld County in order to properly plan for this event.
The "800mhz Solutions Team" will be comprised of the following:
City of Fort Lupton Fort Lupton Fire District
Phil Jensen, Mayor Richard Hawley, Board Member
Brian Funderburk, City Administrator Tom Nash, Board Member
Joe Perales, Lieutenant Phil Tiffany, Fire Chief
Larry Richardson, Fire Marshal
Shaun Austin, Firefighter
It is further our understanding that we will be working with Don Warden and Jack Statler. We will
contact these gentlemen in the near future to set up our first meeting.
We appreciate the County's vision in working with all of the local governmental entities in Weld County
to upgrade to 800 mhz at one time. This effort will surely pay huge dividends for the citizens in Weld
County and all of its municipal subdistricts.
