RE: APPROVAL TO PURCHASE USED DISHWASHER FOR ALCOHOL REHABILI-
TATION AND RECOVERY CENTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the policies for purchasing adopted by the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado specifies that
any used equipment can be acquired through resolution by the
Board of County Commissioners and it is not necessary to go
through the bidding procedure, and
WHEREAS, the Alcohol Rehabilitation and Recovery Center is
in need of certain equipment, specifically a dishwasher and a
steam table, and
WHEREAS, Weld County can acquire said equipment from the
Elms Company at a price of $1 , 000 for the dishwasher, and $475
for the steam table for a grand total of $1 , 475, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advis-
able to purchase said used equipment from the Elms Company for
the price as stated herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the purchase of a used
dishwasher and used steam table for the grand total of $1 , 475
from the Elms Company be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of
